I have to admit I do not have one but I really should. I work quite a distence from home and should anything happen I should have some supplies with me.

Im taking notes here.

Sorry Shooter13, I haven't got one. I'm not bugging out until I first get to my home. Then I'll do everything I can to stay there.

My bug-out bag is always carried in my Jeep...along with my EDC pistol and 12 gauge...should I need any survival supplies when away from my homestead.

The purpose is to make it home...to either bunker down or pickup more supplies to bug-out...depending on the situation.

So...I'm basically with you nitesite... Get to the bunker to hunker down or pickup more gear and get out !

Shooter13~

What I like about your BOB is that is is manageable. I see and read about so many individuals who have a frakin unwieldabe and heavy arrangement. Yours make a TON of sense and it looks like you have used real-world experience to eliminate the crap that isn't truly important.

Great job on your BOB.
