Well I finally got notified today from my FFL that my receiver made it to his place and was ready for pick up!! After some discussion, paperwork, monetary exchange and some more discussion... I was on my way out with a new reason to spend some money!!! lol
It's an NW initialed receiver, making it a 2006 production year model, as well as an SB2 frame. So I can any barrel I want except for a heavy walled 12ga (slug barrel) or 10 gauge.
Plans are to send it in to get a 30-30 barrel fit by H&R. Send the barrel to Innovative Arms, where it will be cut to 18", faced, crowned, threaded and then the front sight will be set back to the new location. After that, I have intentions of having the Synthetic Stock/Forend camo-dipped in Multicam to give it a real custom and up to date look! Optics are going to be later, I like iron sights and shoot better, IMO, with them.

Thanks! I am kind of held at a stand-still with my wedding just over 2 weeks away. After that I think I am going to have free reign over this project

Wow! Holy heck, Ripjack!
I believe there is a blue version of yours at the place I intend on having camo dip my stuff if it comes to it. But I think I like Multicam for all practical purposes :p |

Nothing as of yet. I just bought a Mosin with a hasty approval from the new Wifey lol.
I am considering bringing it up to her shortly, I would like it back before Hunting season and have found some steal deals on 30-06 ammo! 30-30 has become almost completely unobtainable so I have changed the caliber and considering the cut and crown as a home project to save on cash. Gotta sweeten her up a little, any ideas? lol |

Let me get back to you on that...
