Bought a new H&R 1871 Pardner 12 single shot

I looking for all the info I can get on loads for game birds, modifications, and along the way maybe some friends how really appreciate single shot shot guns. I just bought the H&R Pardner in a 12 gauge Modified choke, and I'll be using it for skeet and Partridge in the fall. And maybe try to get a Deer with a slug. If I can help anyone along the way that would be cool, and If I get the info I need I would appreciate it. Thanks.
